BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 12 That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 13 Article – Education 14 5–106. 15 (A) On or before November 1 and March 1 of each fiscal year, the Anne Arundel 16 County Board shall submit to the Anne Arundel County Council, [and] the Baltimore City 17 Board of School Commissioners shall submit to the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, 18 AND THE WICOMICO COUNTY BOARD SHALL SUBMIT TO THE WICOMICO COUNTY 19 COUNCIL a report detailing all expenditures within the major categories of its annual 20 budget. 21 (B) The report also shall detail any action of the county board that would commit 22 the county board to spend more in any major category in the annual budget for the current 23 fiscal year than the amount approved in the annual budget for that category. 24 2 SENATE BILL 892 SECTION 2.
