BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 15 That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 16 Article – Health – General 17 21–330.3. 18 (A) THIS SECTION DOES NOT APPLY TO A FOOD SERVICE FACILIT Y THAT HAS 19 AN ANNUAL GROSS INCOM E OF $400,000 OR LESS. 20 (B) THE OWNER AND OPERATO R OF A FOOD SERVICE FACILITY SHALL 21 DEVELOP AND , BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2025, IMPLEMENT AN AUTOMAT ED 22 EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLAT OR PROGRAM THAT MEET S THE REQUIREMENTS O F § 23 2 SENATE BILL 299 13–517 OF THE EDUCATION ARTICLE. 1 (C) THE DEPARTMENT AND THE MARYLAND INSTITUTE FOR EMERGENCY 2 MEDICAL SERVICES SYSTEMS JOINTLY SHALL ADOPT REGULATIONS TH AT: 3 (1) ESTABLISH GUIDELINES FO R PERIODIC INSPECTIO NS AND 4 ANNUAL MAINTENANCE O F THE AUTOMATED EXTE RNAL DEFIBRILLATORS ; AND 5 (2) ASSIST THE OWNER AND OPERATOR OF A FOOD S ERVICE FACILITY 6 IN CARRYING OUT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS S ECTION. 7 SECTION 2.
