BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 11 That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 12 Article – Transportation 13 16–816. 14 (a) An individual may not drive a school vehicle on any highway in this State 15 unless the individual: 16 (1) Passes an appropriate medical examination BEFORE EMPLOYMENT 17 AND ONCE DURING EACH 2 YEARS OF EMPLOYMENT ; and 18 (2) For driving a school bus, has been issued a commercial driver’s license 19 endorsed school bus. 20 SECTION 2.
