Anne Arundel County – Alcoholic Beverages – Fees for Class C Per Diem 2 
Licenses 3 
 
FOR the purpose of increasing in Anne Arundel County the fees for certain Class C per 4 
diem alcoholic beverages licenses when issued for a 1–day event with more than a 5 
certain number of attendees; and generally relating to alcoholic beverages and 6 
license fees in Anne Arundel County.  7 
 
BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments, 8 
 Article – Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis 9 
Section 4–1203(a), 4–1204(a), and 11–102 10

 SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 18 
That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 19 
 
Article – Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis 20

 (a) A Class C per diem beer license or a Class C per diem beer and wine license 2 
entitles the license holder to exercise any of the privileges conferred by the respective class 3 
of license: 4 
 
 (1) for the use of a person holding an entertainment event that is conducted 5 
by a club; 6 
 
 (2) at the place described in the license; and 7 
 
 (3) for a period not exceeding 7 consecutive days. 8

 (a) A Class C per diem beer, wine, and liquor license entitles the license holder to 10 
exercise any of the privileges conferred by this class of license: 11 
 
 (1) for the use of a person holding an entertainment event that is conducted 12 
by a club; 13 
 
 (2) at the place described in the license; and 14 
 
 (3) for a period not exceeding 7 consecutive days. 15

 This title applies only in Anne Arundel County. 17 
 
11–1311. 18 
 
 (a) (1) [The] EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN PARAGRAPH (2) OF THIS 19 
SUBSECTION, THE fee for a Class C per diem beer license and a Class C per diem beer and 20 
wine license is $25 per day. 21 
 
 (2) FOR A 1–DAY EVENT WITH MORE THAN 1,000 ATTENDEES, THE 22 
FEE FOR A CLASS C PER DIEM BEER LICENSE AND A CLASS C PER DIEM BEER AND 23 
WINE LICENSE IS $500. 24 
 
 (b) (1) [The] EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN PARAGRAPH (2) OF THIS 25 
SUBSECTION, THE fee for a Class C per diem beer, wine, and liquor license is $50 per day. 26 
 
 (2) FOR A 1–DAY EVENT WITH MORE THAN 1,000 ATTENDEES, THE 27 
FEE FOR A CLASS C PER DIEM BEER , WINE, AND LIQUOR LICENSE I S $1,000. 28

 SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect July 1
