BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 13 That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 14 Article – Correctional Services 15 8–204. 16 (b) The Commission consists of the following members: 17 2 HOUSE BILL 123 (1) the Secretary of Public Safety and Correctional Services; 1 (2) the Secretary of Juvenile Services; 2 (3) a representative of the Department of Public Safety and Correctional 3 Services, designated by the Secretary of Public Safety and Correctional Services; 4 (4) a representative of the Department of Juvenile Services, designated by 5 the Secretary of Juvenile Services; 6 (5) a Deputy Secretary of Public Safety and Correctional Services; 7 (6) the president of the Maryland Correctional Administrators Association; 8 (7) the president of the Maryland Sheriffs Association; 9 (8) the president of the Maryland Criminal Justice Association; 10 (9) the Attorney General of the State; 11 (10) the president of a university or college in the State with a correctional 12 education curriculum, appointed by the Maryland Higher Education Commission; 13 (11) one correctional officer of the State recommended by the exclusive 14 representative for the officers covered under Title 10, Subtitle 9 of this article and 15 appointed by the Governor; [and] 16 (12) five correctional officers or officials appointed under subsection (c) of 17 this section; AND 18 (13) THE DIRECTOR OF THE DIVISION OF PAROLE AND PROBATION 19 WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND CORRECTIONAL SERVICES; AND 20 (14) ONE PAROLE AND PROBA TION EMPLOYEE OF THE STATE 21 RECOMMENDED BY THE E XCLUSIVE REPRESENTAT IVE FOR PAROLE AND 22 PROBATION EMPLOYEES , AS SPECIFIED AND APP OINTED BY THE GOVERNOR. 23 SECTION 2.
