BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 17 That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 18 Article – Business Occupations and Professions 19 2 SENATE BILL 147 6.5–201. 1 There is a State Board of Stationary Engineers in the Department. 2 6.5–202. 3 (a) (1) The Board consists of eight members appointed by the Governor with 4 the advice of the Secretary and THE ADVICE AND CONSE NT OF the Senate. 5 (2) Of the eight members of the Board: 6 (i) three shall be stationary engineers; 7 (ii) one shall be a representative from the boiler manufacture and 8 design industry; 9 (iii) one shall be a boiler owner; 10 (iv) two shall be consumer members; and 11 (v) one shall be the Chief Boiler Inspector of the State, or the Chief 12 Boiler Inspector’s designee, who shall be an ex officio, nonvoting member of the Board. 13 SECTION 2.
