Maryland Police Training and Standards Commission – Review of Report and 2 
Recommendations 3 
 
FOR the purpose of requiring the Maryland Police Training and Standards Commission to 4 
annually review a certain report published by the Independent Investigations 5 
Division of the Office of the Attorney General; requiring the Commission to make 6 
certain recommendations; and generally relating to the Maryland Police Training 7 
and Standards Commission.  8 
 
BY adding to 9 
 Article – Public Safety 10 
Section 3–207(o) 11 
 Annotated Code of Maryland 12 
 (2022 Replacement Volume and 2024 Supplement) 13 
 
 SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 14 
That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 15

 (O) THE COMMISSION SHALL : 18 
  2 	SENATE BILL 391  
 
 
 (1) ANNUALLY REVIEW THE 	REPORT PUBLISHED BY 	THE 1 
INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATIONS DIVISION OF THE OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY 2 
GENERAL UNDER § 6–602 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE; AND 3 
 
 (2) MAKE ANY RECOMMENDAT	IONS THAT THE COMMISSION 4 
DETERMINES ARE APPRO PRIATE BASED ON ITS REVIEW. 5 
 
 SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect 6 
October 1, 2025. 7
