Fiscal Detail and Notes
This bill changes the duties of the Water Resources Planning Committee and the Maine Agricultural Water
Management Board within the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry (ACF), increasing data
maintenance and reporting requirements. The bill includes ongoing General Fund appropriations of $58,785 beginning
in fiscal year 2023-24 for one part-time Hydrogeologist position and associated costs. It also includes ongoing Other
Special Revenue Funds allocations of $585 beginning in fiscal year 2023-24 for technology management costs
associated with the position.
