This amendment eliminates the ongoing General Fund appropriations of $1,000,000 per year included in the bill beginning in fiscal year 2024-25 to the Educational and General Activities program within the University of Maine System to support the Maine Teacher Residency Program at the University of Southern Maine and instead provides a one-time General Fund appropriation of $200,000 in fiscal year 2024-25 for the same purpose.
