Preliminary Fiscal Impact Statement
The bill establishes the Distributed Generation and Energy Storage System Program within the Public Utilities
Commission(PUC) and sets certain procurement requirements for distributed generation resources. The bill includes a
baseline allocation to the PUC of $500 beginning in fiscal year 2023-24 to establish the program and allow
expenditures from the account.
