Preliminary Fiscal Impact Statement
The Department of Health and Human Services will require General Fund appropriations of $186,750 in fiscal year
2023-24 and $186,750 in fiscal year 2024-25 to continue payments for days awaiting placement, as the bill removes
the provision that repeals the current law on December 31, 2023. Federal Expenditures Fund allocations will also be
required for the FMAP match.
