Fiscal Note
The bill includes General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services of $152,732 in fiscal
year 2023-24 and $305,791 in fiscal year 2024-25 to continue payments for days awaiting placement, as the bill
removes the provision that repeals the current law on December 31, 2023 and removes the $500,000 cap on annual
expenditures. Federal Expenditures Fund allocations are also included for the FMAP match.
