Fiscal Detail and Notes
Any additional costs to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) or the Maine Land Use Planning
Commission (PC) within the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry to implement the provisions of
this bill are expected to be minor and can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources. Provisions allowing the
DEP and the PC to establish fees related to the approval process of decommissioning plans will result in additional
Other Special Revenue Funds revenue.
