6 This Title may not be construed as preventing or restricting the practice, services or
7 activities of a person who has been formally trained and issued credentials by a nationally
8 recognized association of cardiovascular professionals to perform actions dictated by and
9 performed in the presence of a physician while the physician is performing cardiac
10 catheterization or electrophysiology procedures.

12 This bill ensures that cardiovascular professionals who have been formally trained and
13 issued credentials by a nationally recognized association of cardiovascular professionals
14 may perform actions necessary to assist a physician while the physician is performing
15 cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology procedures.
