Preliminary Fiscal Impact Statement
The Department of Economic and Community Development has indicated that it will require a one-time General Fund
appropriation of $100,000 in fiscal year 2025-26 to contract with subject matter experts to support the working group
convened to study and advise on the challenges faced by municipal governments in the State regarding recruiting,
retaining and staff development.
