Page 1 - 132LR2089(01) 1 2 is enacted to read: 3 4 5 provisions under sections 2-314 and 2-315 to sellers conducting business in the State 6 primarily through Internet-based sales who remit $10,000 or more in sales tax to the State. 7 8 complaint form by which a buyer can submit to a seller a complaint regarding goods subject 9 to the implied warranty provisions under sections 2-314 and 2-315. 10 11 This bill requires the Office of the Attorney General to notify online sellers doing 12 business in the State, who remit $10,000 or more in sales tax, of the implied warranty laws. 13 The bill also requires the Attorney General to make available an online complaint form for 14 residents to use if they believe the seller is not adhering to the implied warranty laws. 11 12 13 14
