Preliminary Fiscal Impact Statement
The bill includes a one-time $500 Federal Expenditures Fund allocation to the Department of Transportation in fiscal
year 2025-26 to allow the department to spend any federal grant funding received for the replacement of the tracks on
the 31 miles of the rail corridor between the towns of Fryeburg and Standish per the recommendation of the Mountain
Division Rail Use Advisory Council.
