Page 1 - 132LR1189(01) 1 2 is enacted to read: 3 4 commission to determine that a petition filed under this section for approval to develop a 5 high-impact electric transmission line is sufficient, the petition must include a provision 6 for an annual payment to the Land for Maine's Future Trust Fund established under Title 7 5, section 6203-D at a rate of $10,000 per megawatt of the high-impact electric transmission 8 line's nameplate capacity, of which at least 20% must be directed to the Conservation Land 9 Management Fund established under Title 5, section 6203-F. 10 11 This bill requires that, for the Public Utilities Commission to determine a petition to 12 develop a high-impact electric transmission line sufficient, the petition must include a 13 provision for an annual payment to the Land for Maine's Future Trust Fund at a rate of 14 $10,000 per megawatt, of which at least 20% must be directed to the Conservation Land 15 Management Fund. 11 12 13 14 15
