1.1 A bill for an act
1.2 relating to liquor; authorizing the city of Bloomington to issue certain on-sale
1.3 licenses to a municipally owned golf course.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. CITY OF BLOOMINGTON; ON-SALE BEER AND WINE LICENSE.
1.6 Notwithstanding any other law or ordinance to the contrary, the city of Bloomington
1.7may issue an on-sale malt liquor license and an on-sale wine license for the Dwan Golf
1.8Course, which is located in and owned by the city. The provisions of Minnesota Statutes,
1.9chapter 340A, not inconsistent with this section, apply to the license issued under this
1.10section. The city of Bloomington is deemed the licensee under this section, and the provisions
1.11of Minnesota Statutes, sections 340A.603 and 340A.604, apply to the license as if the
1.12establishment were a municipal liquor store.
1.13 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective upon approval by the city of Bloomington
1.14and compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021.
