1.1 A bill for an act
1.2 relating to state lands; authorizing private sale of certain tax-forfeited land.
1.3BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.4 Section 1. PRIVATE SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND; AITKIN COUNTY.
1.5 (a) Notwithstanding the public sale provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282, or
1.6other law to the contrary, Aitkin County may sell by private sale the tax-forfeited land
1.7described in paragraph (c).
1.8 (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the attorney general. The attorney
1.9general may make changes to the land description to correct errors and ensure accuracy.
1.10 (c) The land to be sold is located in Aitkin County and is described as: the West 20 feet
1.11of the East 932 feet of the South 208 feet of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter,
1.12as in DOC 203542, Section 32, Township 46 North, Range 25 West (0.1 acres) (parcel
1.13number 09-0-054803).
1.14 (d) The county has determined that the county's land management interests would best
1.15be served if the lands were returned to private ownership.
