                    1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for water treatment plants in​
1.3 the city of Hastings.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. HASTINGS; WATER TREATMENT PLANTS.​
1.6 $16,600,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the Public​
1.7Facilities Authority for a grant to the city of Hastings to predesign, design, construct, and​
1.8equip three water treatment plants and associated water mains to remove per- and​
1.9polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from city wells.​
1.10 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.​
