1.1 A bill for an act
1.2 relating to housing; requiring a report; appropriating money for the manufactured
1.3 home park infrastructure grants and loans.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. TRANSFER AND APPROPRIATION; MANUFACTURED HOME PARK
1.6INFRASTRUCTURE GRANTS AND LOANS.
1.7 (a) $15,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $15,000,000 in fiscal year 2027 are transferred
1.8from the general fund to the housing development fund. This transfer is $15,000,000 in
1.9fiscal year 2028 and each year thereafter.
1.10 (b) $15,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $15,000,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated
1.11from the housing development fund to the commissioner of the Minnesota Housing Finance
1.12Agency for the manufactured home park infrastructure grants and loans under Minnesota
1.13Statutes, section 462A.2035, subdivision 1b.
1.14 (c) By January 15 each year, the commissioner must submit a report on the use of funds
1.15in this subdivision to the chairs and ranking minority members of the legislative committees
1.16having jurisdiction over housing finance and policy. The report must include the following
1.17information:
1.18 (1) grants and loans requested and funded during the prior fiscal year, organized by
1.19ownership type of the manufactured home park, such as private, cooperative, and municipal
1.20ownership, and by county;
1.21 (2) the average amount of grants and loans awarded;
1.22 (3) the average amount of loans issued;
