                    1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to state lands; authorizing private sale of certain tax-forfeited land.​
1.3BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.4 Section 1. PRIVATE SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND; ST. LOUIS COUNTY.​
1.5 (a) Notwithstanding the public sale provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282, or​
1.6other law to the contrary, St. Louis County may sell by private sale the tax-forfeited land​
1.7described in paragraph (c).​
1.8 (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the attorney general. The attorney​
1.9general may make changes to the land description to correct errors and ensure accuracy.​
1.10 (c) The land to be sold is located in St. Louis County and is described as:​
1.11 (1) the easterly 15 feet of Lot 5, Block 47, West Duluth 6th Division, Section 7, Township​
1.1249, Range 14 (parcel number 010-4520-06505); and​
1.13 (2) that part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter described as follows:​
1.14beginning at the northwest corner continue due East parallel with the north boundary line​
1.15a distance of 330 feet to a point of beginning; thence due South parallel with the west​
1.16boundary line a distance of 400 feet to a point; thence due East parallel with the north​
1.17boundary line a distance of 190 feet to a point; thence due North parallel with the west​
1.18boundary a distance of 60 feet to a point; thence due East parallel with the north boundary​
1.19line a distance of 140 feet to a point; thence due North parallel with the west boundary line​
1.20a distance of 340 feet to a point; thence due West parallel with the north boundary line a​
1.21distance of 330 feet to the point of beginning, Section 14, Township 54, Range 20 (parcel​
1.22number 550-0020-02294).​
