1.2 relating to natural resources; appropriating money for the lawns to legumes
1.3 program.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. LAWNS TO LEGUMES; APPROPRIATION.
1.6 $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the Board of
1.7Water and Soil Resources for the lawns to legumes program under Minnesota Statutes,
1.8section 103B.104. The board may enter into agreements with local governments, Metro
1.9Blooms, and other organizations to support this effort. This is a onetime appropriation and
1.10is available until June 30, 2029.
