1.1 A bill for an act 1.2 relating to liquor; permitting persons that are 17 years of age to serve alcoholic 1.3 beverages; amending Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 340A.412, subdivision 10. 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 340A.412, subdivision 10, is amended to 1.6read: 1.7 Subd. 10.Employment of minors.No person under 18 years of age may serve or sell 1.8intoxicating liquor in a retail intoxicating liquor establishment that has an off-sale intoxicating 1.9liquor license. A person 17 years of age may serve or sell intoxicating liquor in a retail 1.10establishment that has an on-sale intoxicating liquor license. 1.11 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment. 1Section 1.
