1.1 A bill for an act
1.2 relating to transportation; appropriating money for intersection improvements on
1.3 marked Trunk Highway 23 in the city of Rockville.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. STEARNS COUNTY STATE-AID HIGHWAY 47; APPROPRIATION.
1.6 $1,620,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
1.7of transportation for the construction of acceleration lanes, right turn lanes, and right turn
1.8buffers in each direction of marked Trunk Highway 23 at the intersection of Stearns County
1.9State-Aid Highway 47, including preliminary and final design, construction engineering
1.10services, and all construction and associated project costs. This is a onetime appropriation.
1.11 Sec. 2. STEARNS COUNTY ROAD 140 AND STEARNS COUNTY STATE-AID
1.12HIGHWAY 82; APPROPRIATION.
1.13 $1,620,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
1.14of transportation for the construction of acceleration lanes, right turn lanes, and right turn
1.15buffers in each direction of marked Trunk Highway 23 at the intersection of Stearns County
1.16Road 140 and Stearns County State-Aid Highway 82, including preliminary and final design,
1.17construction engineering services, and all construction and associated project costs. This is
1.18a onetime appropriation.
