1.2 relating to human services; appropriating money to Catholic Charities of St. Paul
1.3 and Minneapolis for its operation of the homeless elders program.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; CATHOLIC CHARITIES HOMELESS ELDERS
1.6PROGRAM.
1.7 $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from
1.8the general fund to the commissioner of human services for a grant to Catholic Charities of
1.9St. Paul and Minneapolis to operate its homeless elders program that helps homeless, isolated,
1.10and low-income older adults to move into stable housing.
