                    1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to game and fish; providing for free angling licenses to residents age 65​
1.3 or over; amending Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 97A.441, by adding a​
1.4 subdivision.​
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 97A.441, is amended by adding a subdivision​
1.7to read:​
1.8 Subd. 11.Angling; age 65 or older.(a) A person authorized to issue licenses must issue,​
1.9without a fee, a permanent license to take fish by angling to a resident who is age 65 or​
1.10older.​
1.11 (b) A driver's license or Minnesota identification card serves as satisfactory evidence to​
1.12obtain a license under this subdivision at all agent locations.​
