1.1 A bill for an act 1.2 relating to state lands; proposing an amendment to the Minnesota Constitution, 1.3 article IV, by adding a section; requiring supermajority vote of the legislature to 1.4 convey certain state land for less than market value. 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1.6 Section 1. CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT PROPOSED. 1.7 An amendment to the Minnesota Constitution is proposed to the people. If the amendment 1.8is adopted, a section shall be added to article IV, to read: 1.9 Sec. 27. Passage of any law that authorizes the conveyance of state land in excess of 1.10640 acres for consideration that is less than the land's market value requires the vote of 1.11three-fifths of the members of each house of the legislature. 1.12 Sec. 2.
