1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; BROOKLYN PARK WORKFORCE
1.6DEVELOPMENT .
1.7 $2,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the workforce development fund to
1.8the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of
1.9Brooklyn Park for the city to expand the workforce development programming of Brooklyn
1.10Park and Brooklyn Center through workforce development programs serving primarily
1.11underrepresented populations, including such programs as Brooklynk, Career Pathways,
1.12Youth Entrepreneurship, and Community Partnership. This is a onetime appropriation and
1.13is available until June 30, 2028.
