                    1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to education; expanding definition of shared time pupils; amending​
1.3 Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 126C.01, subdivision 8.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 126C.01, subdivision 8, is amended to read:​
1.6 Subd. 8.Shared time pupils."Shared time pupils" means those pupils who:​
1.7 (1) attend public school programs for part of the regular school day; or​
1.8 (2) attend public school career and technical education programs offered for secondary​
1.9credit outside of the regular school day;​
1.10and who otherwise fulfill the requirements of section 120A.22 by attendance at a nonpublic​
1.11school.​
1.12 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective for the 2025-2026 school year and later.​
