                    1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to public safety; appropriating money for public safety costs related to the​
1.3 Minnesota Sex Offender Program facility at Moose Lake.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION.​
1.6 $250,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $250,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from the​
1.7general fund to the commissioner of public safety for a grant to Carlton County to be used​
1.8for law enforcement, prosecution, and litigation expenses arising from the actions of clients​
1.9at the Minnesota Sex Offender Program facility at Moose Lake.​
