1.2 relating to transportation; designating a segment of marked Trunk Highway 23 in​
1.3 Kandiyohi County as Joshua Schmidt Memorial Highway; amending Minnesota​
1.4 Statutes 2024, section 161.14, by adding a subdivision.​
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 161.14, is amended by adding a subdivision​
1.7to read:​
1.8 Subd. 108.Joshua Schmidt Memorial Highway.That segment of marked Trunk​
1.9Highway 23 in Kandiyohi County from its intersection with U.S. Highway 71 north of​
1.10Willmar to Lake Avenue South in Spicer is designated as "Joshua Schmidt Memorial​
1.11Highway." Subject to section 161.139, the commissioner shall adopt a suitable design to​
1.12mark this highway and erect appropriate signs.​
