1.2 relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money to the Minnesota
1.3 Humanities Center.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; MINNESOTA HUMANITIES CENTER.
1.6 $2,500,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $2,500,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from
1.7the arts and cultural heritage fund to the board of directors of the Minnesota Humanities
1.8Center for statewide humanities programs and to support and expand outreach, partnerships,
1.9and humanities programming with organizations and individuals throughout the state,
1.10including programming related to the culture of Minnesota, veterans and the military
1.11experience, professional development opportunities for educators, and programming
1.12representing and reflecting Black, Indigenous, and people of color.
