1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; RAMSEY COUNTY; GIBBS FARM MUSEUM:​
1.6PATHWAYS TO DAKOTA AND PIONEER LIFE.​
1.7 $500,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner​
1.8of employment and economic development for a grant to the Ramsey County Historical​
1.9Society to design, renovate, construct, furnish, and equip site improvements, buildings, and​
1.10facilities at Gibbs Farm, a museum dedicated to the history of early Minnesota agriculture​
1.11and the relationship between the Dakota people of Heyata Othunwe and the Jane and Heman​
1.12Gibbs family.​
1.13 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.​
