1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 93.001, is amended to read:​
1.6 93.001 MINNESOTA IS A MINING-FRIENDLY STATE; POLICY FOR​
1.7MINERAL DEVELOPMENT .​
1.8 Minnesota is a mining-friendly state. It is the policy of the state to provide for the​
1.9diversification of the state's mineral economy through long-term support of mineral​
1.10exploration, evaluation, environmental research, development, production, and​
1.11commercialization.​
