1.1 A bill for an act 1.2 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for a campground and 1.3 recreational area in the city of Little Fork; authorizing the sale and issuance of 1.4 state bonds. 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1.6 Section 1. LITTLE FORK; CAMPGROUND AND RECREATIONAL AREA. 1.7 Subdivision 1.Appropriation.$2,500,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund 1.8to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of 1.9Little Fork for predesign, design, site preparation, equipping, and furnishing a campground 1.10and recreational area. This appropriation includes money for campground improvements, 1.11including tent and recreational vehicle camping spaces, an ATV wash station and loading 1.12ramp, and a camp office; recreational improvements, including a fishing dock, a swimming 1.13beach, and shower and restroom facilities; and road, utility, water and sewer infrastructure, 1.14and green space improvements throughout the campground and recreational area. This 1.15appropriation is exempt from the requirements under Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.86, 1.16subdivision 4. 1.17 Subd. 2.Bond sale.To provide the money appropriated in this section from the bond 1.18proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue bonds of 1.19the state in an amount up to $2,500,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect 1.20prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota 1.21Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7. 1.22 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment. 1Section 1. 25-00089 as introduced10/07/24 REVISOR JSK/HL SENATE STATE OF MINNESOTA S.F.
