1.2 relating to natural resources; appropriating money to update the C.J. Ramstad/North
1.3 Shore State Trail Master Plan to allow for all-terrain vehicle use on a portion of
1.4 the trail.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; C.J. RAMSTAD/NORTH SHORE STATE TRAIL
1.7MASTER PLAN UPDATE.
1.8 $25,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the all-terrain vehicle account in the
1.9natural resources fund to the commissioner of natural resources to update the C.J.
1.10Ramstad/North Shore State Trail Master Plan to allow for all-terrain vehicle use on those
1.11portions of the trail that lie within Cook and Lake Counties. By February 1, 2026, the
1.12commissioner must report to the chairs and ranking minority members of the legislative
1.13committees with primary jurisdiction over environment policy and finance on the
1.14modifications made to the master plan under this section.
