                    1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to traffic regulations; limiting placement of crosswalks at a roundabout;​
1.3 amending Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 169.06, by adding a subdivision.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 169.06, is amended by adding a subdivision​
1.6to read:​
1.7 Subd. 6a.Roundabout.(a) A road authority, as defined in section 169.224, subdivision​
1.81, must not establish a crosswalk within 100 feet of a roundabout.​
1.9 (b) Paragraph (a) does not apply to a crosswalk that is:​
1.10 (1) controlled by pedestrian-control signals; or​
1.11 (2) established prior to the effective date of this section, until reconstruction of the​
1.12roundabout or road.​
