1.1 A bill for an act 1.2 relating to transportation; appropriating money for an interchange project at marked 1.3 Trunk Highway 610 and East River Road in the city of Coon Rapids; authorizing 1.4 the sale and issuance of state bonds. 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1.6 Section 1. COON RAPIDS; TRUNK HIGHWAY 610 INTERCHANGE. 1.7 Subdivision 1.Appropriation.$10,000,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds 1.8account in the trunk highway fund to the commissioner of transportation for final design, 1.9right-of-way acquisition, construction, and associated improvements for the interchange at 1.10marked Trunk Highway 610 and Anoka County State-Aid Highway 1 (East River Road) in 1.11the city of Coon Rapids. This appropriation is for the portion of the project that is eligible 1.12for use of proceeds of trunk highway bonds. This appropriation is in addition to the 1.13appropriations for the same project in Laws 2023, chapter 68, article 1, section 17, subdivision 1.1415, and Laws 2020, Fifth Special Session chapter 3, article 1, section 16, subdivision 3. 1.15 Subd. 2.Bond sale.To provide the money appropriated in this section from the bond 1.16proceeds account in the trunk highway fund, the commissioner of management and budget 1.17shall sell and issue bonds of the state in an amount up to $10,000,000 in the manner, upon 1.18the terms, and with the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 167.50 to 167.52, 1.19and by the Minnesota Constitution, article XIV, section 11, at the times and in the amounts 1.20requested by the commissioner of transportation.
