                    1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to economic development; appropriating money for the small business​
1.3 assistance partnerships program.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; SMALL BUSINESS ASSISTANCE PARTNERSHIPS​
1.6PROGRAM.​
1.7 $6,425,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $6,425,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from​
1.8the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for the​
1.9small business assistance partnerships program under Minnesota Statutes, section 116J.682.​
1.10All grant awards shall be for two consecutive years. Grants shall be awarded in the first​
1.11year. The department may use up to five percent of the appropriation for administrative​
1.12purposes. These are onetime appropriations.​
