1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 299A.85, subdivision 8, is amended to read:​
1.7 Subd. 8.Access to data.Notwithstanding section 13.384 or 13.85 any other law to the​
1.8contrary, the director has access to corrections and detention data and, medical data, and​
1.9criminal investigative data maintained by an agency or political subdivision and classified​
1.10as private data on individuals or confidential data on individuals to the extent the data is​
1.11necessary for the office to perform its duties under this section.​
