1.2 relating to health and human services; appropriating money for a grant to
1.3 Restoration for All, Inc. to provide mental health and suicide prevention services
1.4 and resources.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; RESTORATION FOR ALL, INC.
1.7 $700,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $700,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from the
1.8general fund to the commissioner of human services for a grant to Restoration for All, Inc.
1.9The awarded grant money must be used for activities designed to enhance culturally relevant
1.10services and resources for Minnesota's African immigrant refugee community related to
1.11mental health, substance use disorder, and suicide prevention. Awarded grant money may
1.12also be used to address the physical and mental wellness needs of the elderly and mental
1.13health support and suicide prevention for underrepresented students in higher education.
1.14This is a onetime appropriation.
