                    1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to transportation; appropriating money for the small cities assistance​
1.3 account.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. SMALL CITIES ASSISTANCE ACCOUNT; APPROPRIATION.​
1.6 (a) $25,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the​
1.7commissioner of transportation for deposit into the small cities assistance account under​
1.8Minnesota Statutes, section 162.145, subdivision 2. This is a onetime appropriation.​
1.9 (b) All of the funds deposited under paragraph (a) must be allocated and distributed​
1.10pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section 162.145, in the July 2025 payment.​
1.11 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.​
