1.2 relating to economic development; appropriating money for a grant to the Somali​
1.3 American Youth Enrichment Club (SAYEC).​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION.​
1.6 $100,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the workforce development fund to​
1.7the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the Somali​
1.8American Youth Enrichment Club (SAYEC) to support the youth sports program and parent​
1.9education program. Money may be used for direct training, support services, and economic​
1.10support for individuals experiencing barriers to employment. This is a onetime appropriation.​
