1.2 relating to workforce development; appropriating money for a grant to InspireMSP.​
1.3BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.4 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; INSPIREMSP.​
1.5 $75,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the workforce development fund to the​
1.6commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to InspireMSP to​
1.7develop and execute programming to assist middle and high school aged children in​
1.8Minneapolis and St. Paul to develop an interest in and connect with the creative industry​
1.9in Minnesota. Money must be used for program development and career exploration in the​
1.10creative industry for historically excluded youth by providing access to essential resources,​
1.11networks, and hands-on experience. This is a onetime appropriation.​
