1.1 A bill for an act 1.2 relating to transportation; appropriating money for the construction of improvements 1.3 along Trunk Highway 210 in Otter Tail County; authorizing the sale and issuance 1.4 of state bonds. 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1.6 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; PROJECT REVIEW; TRUNK HIGHWAY 210. 1.7 Subdivision 1.Appropriation.$5,400,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds 1.8account in the trunk highway fund to the commissioner of transportation for environmental 1.9analysis, predesign, design, right-of-way acquisition, and construction of safety and mobility 1.10improvements along marked Trunk Highway 210 between Aurdal Township and Nidaros 1.11Township in Otter Tail County, including consultant usage to support these activities and 1.12the cost of payments to landowners for lands acquired for highway rights-of-way. The 1.13commissioner may use up to 17 percent of this amount for project delivery. 1.14 Subd. 2.Project Review.Prior to expending funds from this appropriation for the project 1.15under subdivision 1, the commissioner must submit to the Otter Tail County Board of 1.16Commissioners a final layout and project report covering the purpose, route location, and 1.17proposed design of the project. The supporting data must include a good-faith cost estimate 1.18of all the costs in which Otter Tail County is expected to participate. Within 90 days of 1.19receiving the layout, report, and cost estimate, the board must approve or disapprove the 1.20proposed project in writing.
