1.1 A bill for an act 1.2 relating to human services; appropriating money for a grant to the African American 1.3 Child Wellness Institute. 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATIONS; AFRICAN AMERICAN CHILD WELLNESS 1.6INSTITUTE. 1.7 $5,250,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $5,512,500 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from 1.8the general fund to the commissioner of human services for a grant to the African American 1.9Child Wellness Institute, a culturally specific African American mental health service 1.10provider that is a licensed community mental health center specializing in services for 1.11African American children and families of all ages from birth to end of life.
