1.2 relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money to support Minnesota's​

1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; SUPPORT MINNESOTA'S THOROUGHBRED​
1.6RACING CULTURE.​
1.7 $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from​
1.8the arts and cultural heritage fund to the commissioner of administration for a grant to a​
1.9class A racetrack that primarily conducts thoroughbred and quarter horse racing and is​
1.10licensed by the Minnesota Racing Commission under Minnesota Statutes, chapter 240, to​
1.11support Minnesota's cultural heritage of thoroughbred racing by expanding opportunities​
1.12at the racetrack for Minnesota racehorses.​
