1.2 relating to human services; providing for a supplemental rate to housing support​
1.3 providers in Otter Tail County; amending Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 256I.05,​
1.4 by adding a subdivision.​
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 256I.05, is amended by adding a subdivision​
1.7to read:​
1.8 Subd. 1v.Supplemental rate; Otter Tail County.Notwithstanding the provisions in​
1.9this section, beginning July 1, 2025, a county agency shall negotiate a supplemental rate​
1.10for up to 24 beds in addition to the rate specified in subdivision 1, not to exceed the maximum​
1.11rate allowed under subdivision 1a, including any legislatively authorized inflationary​
1.12adjustments. The rate under this subdivision is for housing support providers located in​
1.13Otter Tail County that operate facilities and provide room and board and supplementary​
1.14services to adults recovering from substance use disorder, mental illness, or housing​
1.15instability.​
